Seongbuk COVID-19 Case No. 351 Contacts 13 People During Jeju Trip
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] It has been confirmed that patient number 351 of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, had close contact with 13 people when visiting Jeju. Patient 351 visited Jeju before being diagnosed.
On the 25th, Jeju Province announced that they have identified and are investigating 13 people who came into contact with patient A, number 351 from Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, who visited Jeju before being confirmed with COVID-19.
So far, the identified contacts of patient A include one family member, one acquaintance, five airline passengers, and six restaurant customers. The identities of the six restaurant customers are currently being verified. The family member and acquaintance of patient A tested negative for COVID-19.
According to the province, patient A took Asiana Airlines flight OZ8597 departing from Gimpo, Seoul at 2:40 PM on the 20th and arrived in Jeju around 3:50 PM. Then, from 6:29 PM to 8:00 PM, patient A visited Chadoljip in Yeondong, Jeju City. On the 23rd, patient A was confirmed positive for COVID-19.
