New Daily Cases Fall Below 100 After Three Days
Cumulative Cases Reach 25,775
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced on the 24th at midnight that the number of new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in South Korea increased by 77, bringing the total to 25,775.
The number of new confirmed cases decreased by 78 from the previous day (155), falling below 100 again for the first time in three days since the 21st (89).
Regarding the infection routes of the new confirmed cases, 66 were locally transmitted and 11 were imported cases. By region, there were 35 in Gyeonggi, 22 in Seoul, 5 in Daejeon and Chungnam, and 2 in Incheon and Jeonnam.

Since the social distancing level was eased to Level 1 on the 12th, the daily number of confirmed cases has fluctuated around 100 as follows: 98 → 91 → 84 → 110 → 47 → 73 → 91 → 76 → 58 → 89 → 121 → 155 → 77.
