Enjoy Phytoncide in the Hinoki Cypress Forest Along the Walking Trail ... Advance Registration for Gijang Residents
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Tea fields have fully bloomed in Gijang-gun, Busan. Visitors can stroll through the tea fields and even harvest seeds.
The Gijang-gun Agricultural Technology Center will open the tea fields created at the 'Nature Learning Center' from October 24 to November 1 to continue the tradition of tea culture and promote Gijang tea. Participation is open to those who reside or work in Gijang.
The 5,000㎡ tea field established at the center's Nature Learning Center is used annually as a sensory-satisfying tea experience education site for local residents.
The phytoncide-rich cypress forest walking trail is utilized as a natural ecology experience space for children and families.
This period is the optimal time for seed harvesting, allowing any Gijang resident in need of tea tree seeds to collect them.
