Geumcheon-gu Hosts Sweet Potato Harvesting Experience Event at Weekend Farm with Children
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) held a "Sweet Potato Digging Experience" event with children at the Geumcheon Eco-friendly Weekend Farm from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the 23rd.
About 100 children from local daycare centers participated in the event, digging sweet potatoes themselves with hoes and making roasted sweet potatoes to eat using the sweet potatoes they dug.
As a side event, physical activities such as "Tug of War" and "Gongnori" were also held among the daycare centers.
