17 COVID-19 Cases Confirmed at StarQ Billiards in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 23rd, 4 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Gangnam-gu, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 304.
All 4 cases are related to the cluster infection at ‘StarQ Billiard Hall’ (Nonhyeon-ro 12-gil 13). Three residents from Gaepo-dong tested positive at the Gangnam-gu Public Health Center, and one resident from Segok-dong was confirmed at the Seocho-gu Public Health Center and transferred to the Gangnam-gu Public Health Center.
Gangnam-gu identified a total of 17 confirmed cases, including 12 Gangnam-gu residents, since the first confirmed case at the billiard hall on the 17th. As of the afternoon of the 23rd, 81 visitors have undergone specimen testing and been placed under self-quarantine.
Visitors to ‘StarQ Billiard Hall’ between the 8th and 19th of this month are requested to visit the Gangnam-gu Public Health Center as soon as possible for specimen testing.
Meanwhile, at the emergency screening clinic set up near Daechi 2-dong Community Service Center, specimen testing is underway for a total of 3,075 instructors affiliated with local academies. So far, 577 have been tested, all of whom received negative results.
