[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Kim Byeong-nae) announced on the 22nd that the screening clinic located at the main gate of the district office will be relocated to the first floor of the former Veterans Affairs Office building, and from the 26th, COVID-19 related medical services will be conducted there.
The reason for relocating the screening clinic to this location is to prepare for the prolonged COVID-19 situation, improve the working environment for screening clinic staff, and efficiently manage testing equipment.
Accordingly, Nam-gu has hung a banner at the main gate of the Nam-gu Office to announce the relocation of the screening clinic, and has also distributed relocation notice banners to the 16 administrative welfare centers in the district to inform residents of the move.
To visit the former Veterans Affairs Office building, the new location of the screening clinic, one can walk towards the hill near the International Business Hotel located opposite the district office, or if visiting by car, turn right at the third traffic light about 200 meters from Baegun Square towards Bongseon-dong, then go up the hill.
