Gwangyang City Council Opens the 293rd Extraordinary Session on the 21st
Approval of 14 Ordinances and General Proposals, City Administration Questions, and Administrative Audit Plans
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] The 293rd extraordinary session of the Gwangyang City Council was held for a period of 10 days starting from the 21st.
This extraordinary session began with the 1st plenary session on the 21st, followed by six days of reviewing ordinances and general matters by each standing committee from the 22nd, and plans to handle a total of 20 items including the establishment of this year's administrative audit plan.
City administration questions will be conducted over two days starting on the 28th, where six council members will ask questions about major city issues and listen to responses from the executive body.
On the 30th, the 4th plenary session will be held to approve the agenda items reviewed by each standing committee and the implementation plan for this year's administrative audit, and then adjourn.
Among the ordinances submitted were a partial amendment ordinance to the Gwangyang City Public Restroom Installation and Management Ordinance, proposed by Councilor Cho Hyun-ok as the main sponsor, and a full revision ordinance to the Gwangyang City Ordinance on Promotion and Management of Private Consignment of Gwangyang City Affairs, submitted by the Mayor of Gwangyang, totaling nine items.
Additionally, five other items were submitted, including a consent proposal for changes in budget contributions for the metal processing heat treatment industry ecosystem foundation project, a consent proposal for budget contributions to the Jeonnam Credit Guarantee Foundation, a consent proposal for the regulations of the National Important Agricultural and Fishery Heritage Win-Win Cooperation Administrative Council, a consent proposal for next year's budget contribution to the Gwangyang City Love Sharing Welfare Foundation, and a consent proposal for cost burden due to the establishment of Wau Elementary School.
