Pasoo Builds Next-Generation Data Security for Korea Midland Power
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Fasoo announced on the 21st that it will enhance the security system by building a next-generation data security system for Korea Midland Power Co., Ltd.
Korea Midland Power is upgrading to Fasoo Enterprise DRM to proactively respond to increasingly intelligent cyberattacks, insider security incidents, and rapidly changing work environments such as non-face-to-face operations.
The most improved aspect of the data security enhancement project is the real-time encryption and policy management functions. It protects all files entering PCs through various portable disks, messengers, emails, and more. Batch encryption is possible from the administrator page. The initially applied security policies are not simply maintained; policies are continuously improved through document usage log analysis. Security threats arising from policy gaps are preemptively blocked.
Various policy setting functions have been added, such as offline PC removal application/extension and additional permission application/granting through approval processes. This improves some inconveniences previously experienced by existing solution users. The version and installation status of patches distributed to each agent are automatically managed, enhancing convenience.
