On the 20th, the changing of the guard ceremony, which had been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, resumed in front of Daehanmun Gate at Deoksugung Palace in Jung-gu, Seoul. The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that the Deoksugung Royal Guard changing of the guard ceremony and the patrol procession, which had been halted since February when the spread of COVID-19 began, would restart from this day.
