Training of Seodaemun-gu Talent Sharing Volunteer Group
Operating 3 Courses Including YouTube Creator, Advanced Knitting, and Woodworking DIY... Participate in Community Service After Course Completion
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Moon Seok-jin) will conduct a one-month training program starting in mid-month to nurture the 'Talent Sharing Volunteer Group,' enabling residents to develop their talents and share them for the local community.
Three courses?YouTube Creator Training, Advanced Knitting, and Woodworking DIY?will be held 4 to 6 times each.
Residents who are generally interested in volunteering and who will consistently participate in volunteer activities for more than one year after completing the training will attend, with about 10 people per course.
The 'YouTube Creator Training' course includes learning video editing skills, composing content storylines, and filming and producing actual videos.
Participants will receive individual online non-face-to-face education, and after completion, they will engage in volunteer activities such as producing volunteer activity videos and sharing cases conducted in Seodaemun-gu.
The 'Advanced Knitting' class involves making knitted mask necklaces for neighbors and knitting wooden clothes for the district office plaza trees.
In the 'Woodworking DIY' course, participants will acquire skills to make reading stands for children from low-income families. The knitting and woodworking education will take place at local workshops.
