offers not only overwhelming picture quality but also an innovative form factor that allows the screen to be unfolded and rolled back into the main body, presenting a new lifestyle.
On the 20th, LG Electronics announced that it held an online launch event to commemorate the release of the LG SIGNATURE OLED R. At the same time, the product will be sequentially displayed at premium home appliance stores in Korea, including LG Electronics Best Shop Gangnam Main Store, Lotte Department Store (Main Store), Shinsegae Department Store (Gangnam Branch, Centum City Branch), Hyundai Department Store (Mokdong Branch, Trade Center Branch), and Lotte Hi-Mart Jamsil Branch.
The LG SIGNATURE OLED R targets the highest-end demand that desires both ultra-premium quality and rarity value. The focus was on presenting a new lifestyle as a piece of art that customers can experience in their daily lives. The product's shipment price is set at 100 million KRW, which is twice as high as the existing highest-priced LG Electronics TV, the SIGNATURE 8K OLED 88-inch model.
Innovation Created by OLED... Standing Tall as the 'TV Everyone Desires'
At the online rollable TV launch event held that day, LG Electronics introduced its technological leadership, product features, and significance from various angles.
The talk show-style event was hosted by announcer Minjung Kim. Famous personalities such as interior designer Taeo Yang, film critic Dongjin Lee, cinematographer Kyungpyo Hong, musical actress Sohyun Kim, columnist Jiwoong Heo, and IT YouTuber DiMonk participated.
The cast shared their first impressions of the LG SIGNATURE OLED R and discussed TV technology from their respective fields of expertise, such as design and technology. Although their interests differed, they agreed on the beauty of the LG SIGNATURE OLED R and that it is a 'TV everyone wants to own.'
The LG SIGNATURE OLED R features a 65-inch screen that delivers the overwhelming picture quality unique to OLED, where each pixel emits its own light, along with an innovative design unlike any other TV. The 'R' in the product name stands for Revolutionary and Rollable, symbolizing the redefinition of users' spaces through its form factor.
This product allows various spatial expressions that were impossible with conventional fixed TV form factors, depending on how much the screen is rolled in. It supports full view, where the entire screen is visible; line view, where only part of the screen is exposed; and zero view, which completely hides the screen.
The line view can be used in five modes: music, clock, frame, mood, and ThinQ home board. Using the mood mode, you can create an atmosphere as if a campfire is burning inside your home, or check the operating status of smart devices connected to the TV with the ThinQ home board. The zero view itself serves as an interior object. Equipped with a motion sensor that detects movement, it produces a welcome lighting effect when a user approaches. Notably, the LG SIGNATURE OLED R delivers 100 watts of output through 4.2 channels and can also be used as a Bluetooth speaker in zero view mode.

LG Electronics has introduced a differentiated approach from production to marketing and customer management for the rollable TV.
LG Electronics produces the LG SIGNATURE OLED R at its TV production line in Gumi, Gyeongbuk Province. From production to quality inspection, master craftsmen perform manual work. LG Electronics also offers an engraving service that inscribes customer-desired phrases on the aluminum body’s top plate and sides, creating a 'one-of-a-kind TV in the world.'
The fabric covering the speakers is from the Danish luxury fabric brand Kvadrat, and customers can choose their preferred color from four options: Signature Black, Moon Grey, Topaz Blue, and Toffee Brown, enhancing the collectible value.
Customers who purchase the LG SIGNATURE OLED R receive free service for three years, as well as special inspection services twice a year. LG Electronics also provides an accompaniment service where a service master and an LG Electronics researcher visit the customer's home during product installation.
