[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Gyeongsangbuk-do signed a business agreement with Homeplus, one of the country's big three large marts, on the 19th at the provincial government office to expand sales of Gyeongbuk agricultural specialty products.
On this day, Governor Lee Cheol-woo, Homeplus Executive Director Kim Woong, and representatives of producer organizations attended the signing ceremony and pledged mutual cooperation to expand sales channels for Gyeongbuk agricultural specialty products.
Through this business agreement, they plan to ▲ stabilize supply and demand and purchase at appropriate prices for agricultural specialty products ▲ establish a safe production and supply system for agricultural specialty products ▲ conduct promotional and sales events for agricultural specialty products using Homeplus's online and offline distribution networks.
In September, Gyeongbuk Province signed a distribution agreement with Lotte Super, opening the way to supply local agricultural products to over 400 Lotte Super stores nationwide. Prior to that, in July last year, they signed a distribution agreement with E-Mart, achieving sales of 6.3 billion KRW through agricultural product consumption promotion events at over 130 E-Mart stores nationwide.
