He stated, "Since it does not seem that these institutions acted on independent economic judgment, we demand to uncover the hidden power," adding, "The names of the Blue House's Senior Secretary for Political Affairs, administrative officers from the Office of the Senior Secretary for Civil Affairs, and members of the Democratic Party are mentioned throughout the case. Isn't this a power-related corruption?"
He continued, "We cannot entrust this prosecution, effectively led by Minister Choo Mi-ae, who holds prejudgments and biases. A special prosecutor must be appointed promptly to clearly reveal the truth to the public," and said, "We demand an immediate acceptance of the special prosecutor, and even if someone related to our People Power Party is involved in this case, we insist on a thorough investigation and strict punishment."
Regarding the civil servant murder case, he said, "The Blue House, Ministry of National Defense, and Coast Guard are pushing the narrative of voluntary defection to North Korea, but despite the local fishing village chief's testimony today, the working conditions of Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries vessels, the previous slipping incident, the absence of work shoes, and the time and location circumstances all suggest a high possibility of accidental death by slipping. Nevertheless, they are forcing the voluntary defection narrative and taking no action."

Kim Jong-in, chairman of the Emergency Response Committee, said, "It seems the public still feels that the People Power Party has not shown significant signs of change," adding, "We believe that winning the by-elections held next year is essential to gaining the momentum to win the 2022 presidential election."
