KT-HealthHub, Joint Business Promotion for Medical Image Analysis Platform
Healthcare Imaging Interpretation and Medical Information Solution Company HealthHub Signs MOU
KT and HealthHub signed a business agreement on the 16th to develop and jointly commercialize cloud-based remote reading services and artificial intelligence medical image analysis solutions.

On the 16th, KT signed a business agreement with HealthHub, a company specializing in medical image reading and medical information solutions, to develop remote reading services, AI medical image analysis solutions, and joint commercialization.
HealthHub is a leading company occupying about 60% of the domestic radiology remote reading market. It provides software and platforms for medical image storage devices integrated with AI technology. Collaborating with over 1,200 medical institutions nationwide, it reads about 3 million medical images annually. It operates various medical solutions based on the remote reading platform 'H Telerad (HTelerad)', which provides medical images to radiology specialists in different locations, and the AI-based bone age measurement system 'BoneAge AI'.
The two companies will promote a digital healthcare business combining KT's ICT platform capabilities such as cloud, AI, and 5G with HealthHub's remote reading and medical AI solution capabilities. KT will collaborate with HealthHub to develop a cloud and AI-based medical image platform to enable accurate and rapid remote diagnosis of medical images. The medical image platform will be safely and quickly provided through KT Cloud, and medical image services combined with AI will be jointly developed to pursue domestic and international joint business development.
Lee Yong-gyu, Senior Vice President of KT AI/DX Convergence Business Division, said, "We plan to promote the development of medical image platforms and medical image AI solutions together with HealthHub," adding, "We will introduce customized digital healthcare services linked with medical information, lifelog, and genetic information to contribute to the improvement of public health."

Lee Byung-il, CEO of HealthHub, said, "Through this cooperation with KT, we expect more stable operation of remote reading services via the KT cloud platform," and added, "We will collaborate with KT to introduce various medical image solutions to the market in the future."
