[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dobong-gu (Mayor Lee Dong-jin) will hold a baby and childcare products sharing market for Dobong moms for two days from the 20th to the 21st.
The district will conduct the baby and childcare products sharing market non-face-to-face to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to create a childbirth and child-rearing friendly atmosphere in Dobong-gu.
The Dobong moms baby and childcare products sharing market will be held at the Atrium on the basement first floor of Dobong-gu Office.
The items for sale include new products and recyclable pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare products.
Sellers were recruited in advance. Childcare items such as strollers, tricycles, baby carriers, and car seats have been gathered.
In addition, various items such as toys, baby clothes, and blankets will be sold. On the day of the event, two district office staff members will sell on behalf of the sellers to maintain social distancing at the sharing market.
Buyers can apply online in advance, and on-site registration is also possible on the day. Applications can be made by accessing the Dobong-gu Office website under ‘Participation → Internet Application/Survey’ until the 16th. For more details, please contact the Women and Family Division of Dobong-gu Office.
Entry is limited to two people at the same time for buyers. Also, to prevent COVID-19, visitors must fill out an entry log, use hand sanitizer, and wear disposable gloves before entering the sharing market. Additionally, displayed items will be regularly disinfected using sterilizing cleaning agents.

Lee Dong-jin, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, “Differentiated from online flea markets, we have organized an offline direct transaction market where various childbirth and childcare products can be actually checked and purchased non-face-to-face. We expect that the Dobong moms baby and childcare products non-face-to-face sharing market will revitalize the socially stagnant atmosphere caused by COVID-19 and simultaneously achieve a virtuous cycle of resources.”
