[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City is making every effort to create a 'Clean Gwangsan.'
Gwangsan-gu announced on the 15th that it held the 3rd Gwangsan-gu Citizen Auditor Appointment Ceremony and meeting on the 14th and appointed citizen auditors.
The citizen auditor system was established to expand residents' opportunities to participate in district administration and to implement fair and transparent administration.
Since 2016, Gwangsan-gu citizen auditors have been composed of experts in various fields such as welfare, architecture and construction, environment, health, and administration, conducting various activities including auditing large-scale construction projects and conveying residents' inconveniences.
The 17 citizen auditors appointed on this day will monitor Gwangsan-gu's own audits and various civil complaint sites until 2022, pointing out illegal and unfair administrative matters, and work to realize a clean Gwangsan.

Citizen auditor Lee Jongjae said, "I will propose and improve inconveniences in residents' daily lives," and added, "I hope many people will show interest and support for a clean Gwangsan-gu."
