[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seongdong-gu (Mayor Jeong Won-oh) signed a 'Social Contribution Business Agreement' on the 13th at Seongdong-gu Office with local company Shinsegae TV Shopping (CEO Kim Hong-geuk) to support Seongdong Future Job Corporation.
Shinsegae TV Shopping, headquartered in Seongsu-dong, decided to support as part of its community contribution when the snack bar 'Eomma Son Mandu Sopung' (hereafter 'Sopung'), operated by the district-funded institution 'Seongdong Future Job Corporation' for creating jobs for the elderly, faced difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Accordingly, in the first half of this year, they supported new menu development and interior remodeling to revitalize the management of the 'Sopung' store, and posted the entire process on Shinsegae TV Shopping's YouTube channel 'ShinTiShow,' maintaining a collaborative relationship.
This agreement includes ▲supporting projects to revitalize Seongdong-gu's local economy and create jobs for the elderly ▲creating jobs for the elderly and disadvantaged neighbors in Seongdong-gu through Seongdong Future Job Corporation ▲mutual cooperation to activate volunteer work within Seongdong-gu.
According to the agreement, Shinsegae TV Shopping will provide a monthly sponsorship of 3 million KRW for three years to the Future Job Corporation and build a closer cooperative system by actively promoting 'Sopung' products and advancing home shopping broadcasts.
