[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Japan's daily new cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have remained in the 500s for two consecutive days.
According to Japan's NHK, as of 6:30 PM on the 14th, 550 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Japan. The cumulative number of confirmed cases reached 91,529.
Japan's daily new COVID-19 cases showed a decreasing trend with 681 cases on the 10th, 437 on the 11th, and 278 on the 12th, but increased again to 501 cases the previous day, returning to the 500s.
By region, there were 177 cases in Tokyo, 88 in Kanagawa Prefecture, and 61 in Osaka Prefecture.
