Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Conducts Agricultural and Food R&D Technology Demand Survey
[Sejong= Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyunjung] The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, together with the Rural Development Administration, Korea Forest Service, and Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency, will conduct a technology demand survey for agricultural research and development (R&D) projects tailored to field needs from the 15th of this month to December 14th.
The survey covers all areas related to agriculture, including technical difficulties in the production, distribution, and consumption stages of agricultural and livestock products, as well as ICT convergence, agricultural machinery, agricultural environment, climate change, forest science and industry, quarantine, and pest control.
Submitted technology demand survey forms will be reviewed by experts in each field for the necessity and effectiveness of the research, and selected as candidate projects for R&D. After expert planning, these will be reflected in the 2022 Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs research and development projects.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Rural Development Administration, Korea Forest Service, and Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency plan to efficiently and systematically support role sharing and collaboration throughout the entire process?from demand survey to research project selection and planning, to commercialization of research outcomes?through a consultative body.

The technology demand survey announcement will be posted on each agency’s website starting on the 15th, and submissions should be completed according to the attached forms (technology demand survey forms for each agency) and submitted online or by mail.
