Check Vehicle Recall Information Easily on Naver
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced that starting from the 15th, it will launch a service allowing users to check recall information for their vehicles on the portal site NAVER, in collaboration with NAVER and the Korea Transportation Safety Authority.
Until now, the Ministry has provided a website called the 'Automobile Recall Center' where users could check defects and recall status by entering their vehicle registration number or chassis number. In addition, through cooperation with NAVER, the Ministry plans to provide related information to NAVER so that recall information can also be accessed via NAVER's new service 'NAVER MY CAR,' which will begin on the 15th.
When vehicle owners register their vehicle number on the NAVER MY CAR service after consenting to provide personal information, they can check defects and recall status for their vehicles. Selecting the relevant recall information will link to the Automobile Recall Center website, allowing users to access more detailed information.
