This agreement was made to build and expand a standard smart office model for small and medium-sized buildings by combining 5G and AI-based smart office technology with integrated security services.
The three companies plan to combine SK Telecom’s 5G and AI-based smart office construction technology and integrated security services, Aegis Asset Management’s real estate asset management capabilities and market insights, and Pinpoint’s office building leasing, operation, and management expertise to promote the smart office transformation of small and medium-sized buildings.
SK Telecom will provide ▲ integrated security services from its security subsidiaries such as ADT Caps and SK Infosec ▲ AI and mobile-based integrated access control ▲ kiosk-based unmanned information desks ▲ cloud environment infrastructure ▲ integrated quarantine systems based on video analysis and thermal imaging. Aegis Asset Management and Pinpoint plan to brand small and medium-sized buildings equipped with SKT smart office solutions and offer customized solutions such as leasing, operation, management systems, and integrated marketing.
The three companies expect that through this agreement, smart offices, which had been limited to large buildings, will spread to small and medium-sized buildings, expanding the related market and creating new business opportunities.
Group Head Jung Soon-gu stated, “Due to COVID-19, demand for smart office services based on integrated security with enhanced safety and quarantine measures is increasing,” adding, “Through this cooperation, we will create new value centered on the small and medium-sized building market.”
