Gather Together, Those Who Have "Succeeded" in Failing(?) ... '2020 Busan Failure Expo' Held
Busan City and Ministry of the Interior and Safety jointly hold online opening, sector-specific conferences, Show Me the F&C, etc. at Busan Tourism Enterprise Support Center on 22-23 to encourage overcoming failure and retrying
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Failure is the mother of success. An expo aimed at not hiding failure experiences but sharing them with the world to turn them into assets for success will be held in Busan.
The Busan Metropolitan City will hold the ‘2020 Busan Failure Expo’ for two days from the 22nd to the 23rd in a non-face-to-face format, sharing various failure experiences of citizens and companies and socially turning them into assets to encourage re-challenge.
The expo is jointly hosted by Busan City and the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, introducing diverse failure experiences from individuals, companies, and the public sector.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the city will hold this event in a non-face-to-face, on-tact format.
Under the title ‘Failed! Ma! Gaeanta’ (meaning ‘It’s okay!’), this event seeks to share failure experiences and find solutions for re-challenge across all fields including individuals, companies, and public institutions. Applications are being accepted from citizens via YouTube, the event homepage, and social networking services (SNS) from the 16th to the 19th for each program.
The main programs cover six fields: economy, youth, women, community, culture, and civic participation.
Various events will be held online, including the ‘Mask Fashion Show’ and a special lecture by Busan-born comedian Kim Won-hyo at the opening ceremony, the ‘Turning Misfortune into Opportunity, Let’s live on Busan Economy Policy Conference,’ ‘Visible Radio,’ ‘Youth Failure Salon On Air,’ ‘Busan Women’s Collective Experience,’ ‘Re-challenge Final Debate,’ and ‘Show me the Fail&Challenge.’
