[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Jiwon] More than 10,000 units of super high-rise apartments with 35 floors or more will be released nationwide this month. These large complexes offer abundant convenience facilities, and upper floors provide excellent views, attracting significant interest from buyers.
According to the real estate industry on the 13th, 10 apartment complexes with more than 35 floors will offer a total of 10,991 units for sale this month.
By region, the breakdown is as follows: Seocho-gu, Seoul 2,990 units (35 floors), Anseong, Gyeonggi 1,696 units (35 floors), Gwacheon, Gyeonggi 697 units (35 floors), Namyangju, Gyeonggi 740 units (46 floors), Yeoju 174 units (40 floors), Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi 926 units (35 floors), Gimhae, Gyeongnam 877 units (40 floors), Gumi, Gyeongbuk 1,610 units (42 floors), Suseong-gu, Daegu 301 units (49 floors), Busanjin-gu, Busan 806 units (36 floors), and Wando, Jeonnam 192 units (37 floors).
High-rise apartments tend to have high buyer satisfaction and often become regional landmarks due to their large scale. Recent sales data also show strong subscription results.
In May, 'Hwaseo Station Prugio Brilliel' in Jeongja-dong, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi, which is the tallest at 41 floors, attracted 18,262 applicants for 452 units excluding special supply, resulting in an average competition rate of 40.4 to 1, closing in the first priority round.
In June, 'Hillstate Uijeongbu Station' in Uijeongbu-dong, Uijeongbu-si, Gyeonggi, the tallest at 49 floors, also closed in the first priority round with an average competition rate of 46.95 to 1.
In the provinces, 'Sokcho The Ocean Xi,' the tallest at 43 floors in Sokcho, Gangwon-do, sold out in the first priority round with 6,127 applicants for 355 units excluding special supply, reaching a highest competition rate of 114 to 1 and an average of 17.26 to 1 in May.
Super High-Rise Apartments Being Sold One After Another in Provinces
Ssangyong Construction will sell 'Ssangyong The Platinum Premier' this month at 73 Seungdu-ri, Gongdo-eup, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do. It will be the tallest and largest in the area, consisting of 14 buildings with 2 basement floors and up to 35 floors above ground, offering 1,696 units with exclusive areas ranging from 59 to 141㎡.
The recently opened Starfield Anseong is nearby, along with SRT Jije Station and the Pyeongtaek Godeok Samsung Semiconductor Plant. A national public daycare center and Gongdo Elementary School are within walking distance, and middle and high schools are located within 1 km radius of the complex.
The complex will feature landscaping about three times the size of a soccer field, and a waterside park along Seungducheon Stream will be created nearby. In summer, a themed playground usable as a water park and a pet playground for pet families will be provided.
GS Construction will sell 'Byeollae Xi The Star' this month in the special planning zone of Byeollae Residential Development District 1 Block, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do. The apartment complex will have 5 buildings ranging from 3 basement floors to a maximum of 46 floors above ground, with a total of 740 units of 84㎡ and 99㎡ exclusive areas.
Located near Byeollae Station, it offers quick access to Seoul and metropolitan areas via the Guri (Sejong)?Pocheon Expressway, the Metropolitan Area 1st Ring Expressway, and the Northern Arterial Road.
A consortium of Daewoo Construction, Kumho Industrial, and Taeyoung Construction will sell 'Gwacheon Prugio Eoulim Lavieno' this month at S4 Block, Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town, Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do. It will be the tallest complex in Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town, with 7 buildings up to 35 floors above ground, offering 679 units with exclusive areas ranging from 84 to 120㎡.
Samsung C&T will sell 'Raemian One Bailey' this month at 10 Sinbanpo-ro 19-gil, Banpo 2-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul. The complex will consist of 23 buildings from 4 basement floors to a maximum of 35 floors above ground, totaling 2,990 units with exclusive areas ranging from 49 to 168㎡.
