View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Able C&C announced on the 13th that it has signed a cooperation agreement with Lily & Beauty, the largest cosmetics distributor in China, regarding the distribution and sales of Missha.
The agreement was recently signed in Shanghai, China, with Able C&C's China branch manager Du Jua and Lily & Beauty's chairman Huang Tao in attendance.
Lily & Beauty is the largest cosmetics distributor in China, with Alibaba as a major shareholder. It manages overall cosmetics distribution tasks including e-commerce, wholesale and retail sales, and brand marketing. In particular, it specializes in managing entry and sales on Tmall, Alibaba's corporate online mall.
Du Jua, China branch manager of Able C&C, said, "Competition in the Chinese cosmetics market is becoming increasingly fierce due to the growth of domestic brands," adding, "This agreement will significantly strengthen Able C&C Missha's distribution power within China."
Able C&C and Lily & Beauty will collaborate for the first time at the Guanggun Festival, China's largest sales event, held on the 11th of next month.
Im Junwon, head of overseas sales at Able C&C, stated, "Together with Lily & Beauty, we plan to actively market the 'Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream,' famous as Hongbibi in China," and added, "As this is our first collaboration, we expect good results."
