Jeonyonggi, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, presented evidence proving that the cornerstone at the Bank of Korea Headquarters Currency Museum (formerly the Bank of Joseon Headquarters) is the handwritten work of Ito Hirobumi, the first Prime Minister of Japan, during the National Assembly's Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee's audit of the Cultural Heritage Administration held on the 12th. Jeonyonggi submitted a copy of the publication titled "Economic Outlines of Chosen and Manchuria," published by the Bank of Joseon in 1918, as evidence, stating, "On page 6 of this book, currently held by the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) Library, it is explained that 'the cornerstone of this building was made with the handwritten work of Lord Ito.'" / Reporter Yoon Dongju doso7@
