Korea Customs Service announces export and import status from October 1 to 10.
Exports amounted to $9.3 billion, a 28.8% decrease compared to the same period last year.
The number of working days during this period was 4.5 days, two days fewer than 6.5 days in the same period last year.
Considering the number of working days, the average daily export value was $2.07 billion, an increase of 2.8% ($60 million) compared to the same period last year.
By export item, semiconductors increased by 11.2%, while passenger cars decreased by 36%.

By export country, exports to China decreased by 20.9%, the United States by 33.5%, the European Union (EU) by 27.2%, and Vietnam by 15.6%.
