[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Seon-gap) is providing ‘customized safety items’ to ensure safe living for single-person households.
This project was established to improve the vulnerable living environment of single-person households by providing safety items that can prevent crimes, fires, and be used in emergencies.
The support targets approximately 600 single-person households living in multi-family or multi-unit houses (excluding apartments) in Gwangjin-gu under lease or monthly rent, with the housing lease conversion value not exceeding 200 million KRW.
The support items include four types: ▲shatterproof film to prevent glass breakage ▲smart fire detection valve timer ▲mini fire extinguisher ▲Safe Touch smart ring that records and transmits the scene in emergencies. Recipients can select up to two items according to their housing conditions.
Eligible applicants must visit their local community service center by the 23rd of this month to submit the application form and required documents. Detailed information about the support items can be found on the Gwangjin-gu website.
