Through this partnership, resident companies at KSC Singapore are expected to receive support for local business activities by utilizing UOB's diverse networks, including government agencies, major corporations, and associations.
UOB has an online application and consultation process, making it more convenient to use financial services locally. In fact, after the partnership was established, resident companies were able to receive consultation services from UOB without face-to-face meetings and access various financial services with just one bank visit after the quarantine period ended.
Going forward, the Small and Medium Business Corporation plans to provide various support services, including investment linkage services, to promising domestic companies aiming to enter the fintech and financial industries in Singapore and East Asia, in collaboration with UOB.
