[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Bitcoin, the number one cryptocurrency by market capitalization, is showing a sideways trend in both domestic and international markets, trading around 12.4 million KRW and 10,600 USD.
According to the cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb as of 7:48 AM on the 8th, Bitcoin rose 0.23% (28,000 KRW) compared to 24 hours ago, reaching 12.4 million KRW. A total of 19 billion KRW worth of Bitcoin was traded during the day.
Other cryptocurrencies are showing mixed movements. Bitcoin SV (2.82%), Bitcoin Cash (1.25%), and Litecoin (1.12%) are rising, while Stellar Lumens (-0.72%), Ethereum (-0.45%), and EOS (-0.45%) are falling.
At the same time, on Upbit, Bitcoin is trading at 12.416 million KRW, down 0.02% (2,000 KRW) from the previous day.
Most cryptocurrencies on Upbit are also showing mixed fluctuations. Bitcoin SV (2.34%), Ripple (0.69%), and Bitcoin Cash (0.64%) are rising, while EOS (-2.54%) and Ethereum (-0.93%) are declining.
In overseas markets, a slight upward trend is observed. According to cryptocurrency market data provider CoinMarketCap, at the same time, Bitcoin was up 0.84% from 24 hours ago, trading at 10,655.02 USD.
Most cryptocurrencies are rising in overseas markets. Polkadot (2.10%), Ripple (1.81%), Litecoin (1.70%), Bitcoin Cash (1.56%), and Chainlink (1.15%) are showing relatively large gains.
