Jang Je-won Praises '37th Policy' of An… "A Day to Work Together Will Eventually Come"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Jang Je-won, a member of the People Power Party, praised the '37 Policies' announced by Ahn Cheol-soo, leader of the People Party, saying, "Eventually, a day will come when we can work together."
On the 7th, Jang said on Facebook, "The 37 policies proposed by the People Party contain warmth for the community and firmness for reform. Their concreteness and clarity stand out."
He added, "By specifying the declarative basic income system, which only sparked controversy, into a 'Youth Basic Income System,' the feasibility has been made much clearer. Also, the proposal for pension reform to unify the national pension and special occupation pensions is a core reform task that excludes populism and is not easy to present in the political arena," praising the policies.

Jang said, "If the two parties, looking toward the same direction and sharing the same goals, fill in details when one side proposes discourse, support each other when one side lacks strength, and translate national reform tasks into concrete policies to implement them one by one, I believe that small differences will be overcome and eventually a day will come when we can work together."
