Gwangju City to Hire Additional Nurses, Public Health Workers, and Health Researchers

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 6th that it will conduct the written examination for the 3rd local government recruitment exam on December 26.
This exam was promoted to recruit new personnel in the infectious disease management field necessary for establishing a regional cooperation system in preparation for the second wave of COVID-19 and the establishment of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.
The recruitment scale is ▲ Nurse Level 8: 18 people ▲ Health Level 9: 11 people ▲ Health Researcher: 7 people, totaling 36 people.
Eligibility requirements are holders of relevant qualification licenses or those who have obtained a master's degree or higher in the recruitment field, and the qualifications must be valid as of the final day of the interview exam.
Applications will be accepted only through the ‘Integrated Internet Application Center for Local Governments’ from the 16th to the 20th of next month.
The exam schedule includes the written test on December 26, followed by the announcement of the final successful candidates on February 17 next year.

Kim Jong-hwa, the city’s Personnel Policy Officer, said, “As the COVID-19 situation prolongs, we are conducting an additional recruitment exam to strengthen the functions and roles of the dedicated infectious disease management department,” and added, “We hope many outstanding talents will apply.”
