Digital Service Usage Support System Launches... Corporate Briefing Session to be Held on the 15th
[Asia Economy Reporter Seolgina Jo] The Ministry of Science and ICT announced on the 5th that it has launched the usage support system (https://www.digitalmarket.kr) which provides information on how to apply for digital service evaluation, required documents, and information on selected digital services for companies and demand institutions interested in the selection and use of digital services.
This follows the revision of the "Enforcement Decree of the Act on the Development of Cloud Computing and Protection of Users" and the establishment of the "Notice on Digital Service Evaluation and Selection, etc."
Interested companies can contact the Korea Agency for Digital Opportunity and Promotion (KADO) customer center (☎1522-0089 (extension 1), help@digitalmarket.kr) to inquire about the application procedures, submission documents, and receive consultation.
Submitted services will be comprehensively reviewed by the Digital Service Evaluation Committee to determine whether they meet the selection criteria. Selected services will be eligible for direct contract agreements. Additionally, selected services will be registered and disclosed on the usage support system and will also be registered on the Digital Service Shopping Mall through contracts with the Public Procurement Service.
The Ministry of Science and ICT, together with KADO, plans to hold an online briefing session on the 15th at 2 PM to guide digital service providers on the specialized contract system for digital services and how to use it.

The Ministry of Science and ICT stated, “We expect that the specialized contract system, which facilitates the use of digital services, will encourage various companies to enter the public market,” and added, “We hope for active interest and participation from related companies wishing to provide their excellent digital services to the public sector.”
