Pohang City Receives 'Minister of the Interior and Safety Award' in Local Government Productivity and Win-Win Economy Sector
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Pohang City, Gyeongbuk, took first place (Minister of the Interior and Safety Award) in the win-win economy category of the '2020 Local Government Productivity Awards' hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and organized by the Korea Productivity Center (KPC).
According to Pohang City on the 5th, on the 28th of last month, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced the results of the '2020 Local Government Productivity Awards' and selected a total of 28 cities as 'livable cities' in the productivity index and excellent case categories.
Among 173 local governments that submitted 419 excellent cases, Pohang City won first place in the 'win-win economy' excellent case category with the operation of the 'Jatuli Time Exchange'.
