[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] On the day of Chuseok, the 1st, additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection were reported.
On the 1st, Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced that a woman in her 30s, Ms. A, living in Namdong-gu, Incheon, tested positive for COVID-19. Ms. A was a contact of a confirmed case in Goean-dong, Bucheon City, which occurred on the 23rd of last month, and tested positive following a specimen test conducted the previous day.
Additionally, one more confirmed case was reported in Cheonan, Chungnam on the same day. According to Cheonan City, Mr. B, a man in his 30s living in Buldang-dong, was tested at the screening clinic of Cheonan Chungmu Hospital due to high fever and other symptoms, and after testing positive, was admitted to Cheonan Medical Center.
