The district announced that it has designated the two weeks from the 28th to October 11 as the ‘Chuseok Special Quarantine Period’ and is making every effort to enforce quarantine measures.
This measure aims to prevent the spread of the virus around the Chuseok holiday, when population movement is high, to ensure the safety of residents, and quarantine measures equivalent to social distancing level 2 will be implemented.
Looking at the main points, first, core quarantine rules for 6,083 multi-use facilities in the area will be mandatory. Franchise-type cafes and bakeries must comply with quarantine rules such as limiting the number of people inside the store, and restaurants with more than 20 seats are required to maintain at least 1 meter of distance inside the store. PC rooms are allowed to consume food but must follow quarantine rules such as prohibiting minors from entering.
The 177 churches located in the area must comply with non-face-to-face worship standards, and the operation of 485 high-risk facilities of 11 types, including entertainment bars, karaoke rooms, indoor group exercise facilities, and large academies with more than 300 people, will be suspended.
Public cultural facilities will operate only partially. Twenty-four libraries, including Jungnang-gu Public Library, will operate only some services such as lending and returning books from October 6, and Jungnang Art Center will start operating from the 7th with a limited number of viewers. Public sports facilities will operate normally only at six outdoor sports facilities, including Jungnang-gu Public Grass Stadium.
