Korean Language Classes Opened for Foreign Residents in Korea
Gyeongbokgung Management Office and Sejong Institute Foundation Hold 'Jiphyeonjeon Korean Language Class'
The Gungneung Historic Site Headquarters Gyeongbokgung Management Office and the Sejong Institute Foundation announced on the 28th that they will hold the 'Jiphyeonjeon Korean Language Class' three times (on the 5th, 8th, and 9th) next month at Sujeongjeon Hall in Gyeongbokgung Palace. This lecture and experience program is designed to promote Hangul and raise awareness of the value of our cultural heritage. The target audience is foreigners residing in Korea. The program includes Korean conversation classes to express thoughts in Korean, hanbok experience, and traditional bracelet making. Various attractions such as Korean language education content will also be provided. To prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the number of participants is limited to fifteen. An official stated, “We will operate in compliance with safety measures such as wearing masks, temperature checks, and maintaining safe distances.”
