Damyang-gun Implements Emergency Medical Measures for Chuseok Holiday
[Damyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yuk-bong] Jeonnam Damyang-gun (Governor Choi Hyung-sik) announced on the 28th that it will implement emergency medical measures, including operating emergency rooms, on-duty medical institutions, and the public health center emergency treatment situation room, to alleviate the inconvenience of residents using medical institutions and pharmacies during the Chuseok holiday period.
During the Chuseok holiday, 11 hospitals and clinics in the region, including the Damyang Sarang Hospital, a regional emergency medical center capable of 24-hour emergency treatment, will be in operation, and 11 pharmacies on holiday duty will also be open.
The county public health center, a public health institution, will maintain an emergency system with all staff on duty for five days during the holiday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., operating general treatment and a COVID-19 screening clinic to minimize medical service gaps and provide public medical services.
Detailed information about medical institutions and pharmacies operating during the Chuseok holiday period can be obtained through the county office and public health center websites, the Emergency Medical Information Service Guidance System (Emergency Medical Portal E-gen), and the smartphone application (e-gen).
