National Science Museum to Reopen from the 29th
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Junho] Five national science museums under the Ministry of Science and ICT, which have been closed to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), will reopen from the 29th.
The science museums stated that they plan to frequently disinfect major facilities and strictly adhere to quarantine rules so that visitors can feel safe when visiting the museums.
To ensure sufficient distancing between visitors, entry will be limited to within 30% of the maximum capacity. At the entrance, visitors must undergo procedures such as temperature checks, electronic entry log registration, and mask-wearing verification to be allowed entry. Special events such as traditional games and science performances, which were held during holidays like Seollal and Chuseok at the national science museums, will not be held.
If you plan to visit the science museums, it is necessary to check in advance on each museum’s website which facilities are open and whether advance reservations are required.
