[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 28th that it won the Gold Stevie Winner award in the publishing category at the International Business Awards (IBA).
Now in its 17th year, the IBA is an international competition held by the U.S.-based Stevie Awards that evaluates the business, marketing, and public relations activities of companies and organizations worldwide over the past year across 13 categories. It is also known as the "Oscars of the business world." This year, more than 3,800 entries from over 60 countries competed, with over 250 experts worldwide serving as judges.
Lotte Chilsung Beverage submitted its 70-year history book, which captures the story of its growth alongside consumers while leading the development of the domestic beverage industry, and was honored with the Gold Award in the "Company History" category of the publishing division.
The 70-year history book of Lotte Chilsung Beverage is a company history that systematically and comprehensively records the continuous challenges and innovations of Lotte Chilsung Beverage as the number one beverage company in Korea. It is also recognized as a valuable beverage history that fully reflects the growth process of the Korean beverage industry.
To embody the company and brand identity that pursues clarity and purity based on water, green and white were used as the main colors, and the refined and simple design of the history book, reminiscent of nature, received positive evaluations.
The history book consists of two volumes: the "History Book" and the "Brand Book." The History Book is divided into seven sections by decade, covering 70 years of history, and tells the story of Lotte Chilsung Beverage’s growth as an industry leader amid economic, social, and cultural changes, as well as the history of the Korean beverage industry. The Brand Book features the core values, development stories, and episodes of major brands, enriched with abundant photos and infographics to enhance the reading experience.
