South Korea's COVID-19 Response and the Impact of the Pandemic on South Korea's Diplomatic Global Environment
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] On the 25th at 9 a.m. (Korean time), Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha will attend an online seminar hosted by the Asia Society in New York, USA, and deliver a speech and participate in a discussion on the topic of "South Korea's Response to the Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and the Impact of the Pandemic on South Korea's Diplomatic Global Environment," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
At this event, Minister Kang is expected to mention South Korea's efforts to strengthen multilateralism to overcome the pandemic situation and the close cooperation between South Korea and the United States.
After the speech, an online discussion with the moderator and a Q&A session with the online audience will take place. The Asia Society is a non-profit foundation established in 1956 by John D. Rockefeller III with the purpose of promoting mutual understanding and friendship between the United States and Asia.
