View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hyun-joo] Sungkyunkwan University announced on the 24th that it has signed a tripartite cooperation agreement with Yuhan Corporation and I'mNeuron Bioscience for the 'New Theology Convergence Brain Disease R&BD Ecosystem Construction Project.' Accordingly, a CNS Research Center will be established on the Natural Science Campus of Sungkyunkwan University, creating an industry-academia convergence brain disease R&BD ecosystem.

The CNS Research Center will accommodate approximately 7,000 people and be equipped with state-of-the-art education and research facilities. Architectural design will begin in the second half of this year, with completion targeted by the end of 2023. Through the establishment of the center, the three organizations plan to create a one-stop CNS industry-academia convergence ecosystem that consolidates capabilities in education, research, technology development, intellectual property, translational research, clinical trials, and commercialization, covering everything from basic research to new drug development.
