KAMCO Announces Public Auction of Seized Assets Worth 251.4 Billion KRW
The Voting Results Will Be Announced on October 8
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KAMCO (Korea Asset Management Corporation) will auction 1,684 items worth 251.4 billion KRW, including 239 residential buildings such as apartments and houses nationwide, through Onbid over three days from the 5th to the 7th of next month.
The auctioned items are properties entrusted to KAMCO for auction by public institutions such as tax offices and local governments to collect delinquent taxes. This auction includes as many as 700 items priced at 70% or less of the appraised value.
When bidding in the auction, careful analysis of rights is required, and the buyer is responsible for evicting tenants, so caution is necessary. Also, keep in mind that the auction of the relevant items may be canceled before bidding due to reasons such as tax payment or undeliverable notices.
