MobileIndex Launches iOS Big Data Analysis Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Mobile big data platform company IGAWorks announced on the 24th that its big data analysis solution, 'Mobile Index,' analyzes not only Android but also iOS data.
Mobile Index has so far analyzed activity data from 35 million Android devices in Korea. Going forward, it will integrate analysis of up to 4.5 million iOS smart devices. With the addition of iOS data analysis, Mobile Index now processes a massive amount of data, reaching 2 billion records from an average of 40 million mobile devices daily.
iOS data analysis provides metrics such as the number of users per app, usage time, number of installed devices, user data by gender and age, churn rate, and inflow rate, similar to the existing Android analysis.
In particular, iOS, which accounts for about 20% of the domestic mobile operating system market, shows an overwhelming share among certain generations, with women in their 20s making up half of its users. IGAWorks stated, "We can analyze the entire mobile market more accurately and in greater depth," adding, "By analyzing data from both operating systems separately, it is now possible to analyze trends of mobile apps with a high proportion of a specific operating system."
