In the KOSPI market, foreigners and institutions sold net amounts of 55.9 billion KRW and 280.9 billion KRW respectively, while individuals bought a net amount of 328 billion KRW.
By sector, Internet (1.95%), Software (2.1%), Publishing & Media Replication (1.96%) rose, while Paper & Wood (1.61%) and Chemicals (0.59%) declined.
Among the top market capitalization companies, Samsung Electronics (0.69%), SK Hynix (2.83%), NAVER (4.22%), and Kakao (3.54%) rose, whereas Samsung Biologics (3.56%) and LG Chem (1.41%) fell.
The KOSDAQ recorded 843.45, up 0.73 points (0.09%) from the previous day.
The KOSDAQ opened at 855.57, up 12.85 points (1.52%) from the previous trading day, showing both rises and falls during the session.
In the KOSDAQ market, individuals and foreigners bought net amounts of 91.5 billion KRW and 29.2 billion KRW respectively, while institutions sold a net amount of 101.5 billion KRW.
By sector, Entertainment & Culture (1.73%), Broadcasting Services (1.14%), and Semiconductors (2.04%) rose, but Chemicals (0.59%) and Paper & Wood (1.61%) declined.
