According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 22nd, a man in his 70s, Mr. A, residing in Chipyeong-dong, Seo-gu, tested positive for COVID-19 and was classified as the 487th confirmed case in the region.
Mr. A was identified as a contact of the 463rd confirmed case related to the Gyeongbuk Chilgok wild ginseng briefing session and tested positive in a pre-release test during self-quarantine.
As a self-quarantine subject, no movement or additional contacts are expected.
