Jangseong-gun Resumes Operation of Outdoor Welfare Job Project
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 22nd that it has resumed the operation of welfare jobs involving outdoor activities.
The targets are 1,340 senior citizen jobs, 30 jobs for people with disabilities, and 60 self-support work positions.
A county official stated, "As the spread of COVID-19 continues, we plan to strictly adhere to measures such as checking body temperature before work, hand sanitization, and wearing masks."
Jangseong-gun plans to continuously review whether to maintain the project based on government policies and the trend of confirmed cases even after resuming the welfare job program.

Additionally, operation restrictions will continue for indoor activity-type jobs with a high risk of infection, such as massage therapists for the visually impaired and environment keepers at senior centers.
