Gwangju Buk-gu 'Ansim Call Access Management System' Operated Concurrently
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Moon In) announced on the 22nd that, following the introduction of an electronic entry log to prevent COVID-19 infection, it will operate the 'Safe Call (CALL) Entry Management System' concurrently for the first time in Gwangju.
The 'Safe Call Government Building Entry Management System' is a system where, upon entering the government building, calling the provided phone number records call details such as phone number and time on a computer server, which are stored for four weeks before being discarded.
In the case of the existing QR code electronic entry log, elderly people who are not familiar with smartphone use face difficulties, and the handwritten log method raised concerns about personal information leakage and decreased reliability due to false or incomplete entries.
The Safe Call system, which complements the weaknesses of both methods, can be easily used with just a mobile phone, improving accuracy and reducing the time required.
Buk-gu plans to use Safe Call data for rapid quarantine response in case of confirmed COVID-19 cases within the government building.
