Gangbuk-gu to Conduct Online Resident Informatization Education in October
Operating 12 Courses from October 5 to 29... Apply by Searching YouTube Channels 'Gangbuk-gu 1 Gyoyukjang' and 'Gangbuk-gu 2 Gyoyukjang'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangbuk-gu (District Mayor Park Kyumsu) will conduct online informatization education for residents to spend beneficial leisure time at home in a non-face-to-face manner to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The lectures will be conducted through live broadcasts on YouTube. There are a total of 12 programs, with 6 courses on Mondays and Wednesdays and 6 courses on Tuesdays and Thursdays, running for 4 weeks from October 5 to 29.
Each course consists of a total of 8 classes, and each lecture lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes.
On Mondays and Wednesdays, viewers can watch ▲Creating moving videos with PowerPoint ▲Communicating stylishly with the world via smartphone ▲Internet lectures with Chrome ▲Information travel via the internet ▲Challenge! Getting familiar with smartphones ▲Practical OA utilization when you know how, among others.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, various classes will be offered, including ▲Essential smartphone app usage for daily life ▲Excel 2010 practical calculation usage ▲Challenge! DIAT certification (Hangul) ▲Challenge! Getting familiar with computers (Windows 10) ▲Creating my own UCC with a smartphone ▲Document creation using Hangul 2010.
The district plans to operate classes using two channels, ‘Gangbuk-gu 1 Education Center’ and ‘Gangbuk-gu 2 Education Center,’ so that users can freely choose classes.
Those wishing to attend can search for the channel at the class time and watch the desired course.
Attendees can communicate with instructors in real time through the YouTube chat window during class, and past lectures can be reviewed repeatedly.
Classes can be attended without a separate application process, but if desired, attendees can receive notification messages such as class time alerts by applying for the course.
The application period is from 9:00 AM on September 22 to 6:00 PM on September 28, and applications can be made via the Gangbuk-gu Neulbaeumteo website or by phone.
