WISET Mokpo National University Project Group Conducts Post-Corona Customized Online and Offline College Admission Mentoring

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] The WISET Jeonnam Region Mokpo National University Project Group (Director Park Bok-hee) has been promoting a customized online and offline college admission mentoring program for career planning in the science and engineering fields targeting 10 middle and high schools in the Jeonnam region since last July.
According to Mokpo National University on the 21st, the customized college admission planning On-Off line mentoring is operated as a session where professors in science and engineering fields, female scientists and engineers, and female university (graduate) students directly provide information about the 4th Industrial Revolution, share major and job information in science and engineering fields, and respond to students' questions.
In particular, due to social distancing measures from COVID-19, the program is conducted in real-time online using Zoom as a non-face-to-face method, and mentoring is continuously provided through online channels (email, SNS, etc.) in small groups of mentor-mentee 1:1 or 1:5.

The WISET Jeonnam Region Mokpo National University Project Group plans to carry out various science and engineering major experience programs such as the Visiting Laboratory (June to December) for supporting science and engineering education and culture dissemination, the Island Region Nanobreak Dream Camp (August to October), and the customized college admission planning On-Off line mentoring (July to December).
