Announcement of New Job Idea Contest Results... Grand Prize Winner: 'Creator Advertising Manager'
Korea Employment Information Service Announces Results of the '1st Korea New and Future Occupation Idea Contest'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Korea Employment Information Service announced the results of the "1st Korea New and Future Occupations Idea Contest" on the 21st.
This contest, held for the first time this year, was organized to gather ideas that can drive innovation in our society and create jobs through new and future occupations. A total of 147 ideas were submitted during the one-month contest held from July 6 to August 7, with 262 general citizens participating individually and in teams, ranging in age from their 20s to their 70s.
A representative from the Employment Information Service explained, "Many ideas related to various future issues in our society, such as technological advancements from the 4th Industrial Revolution, environment, aging population, and urban regeneration, were submitted."
Submitted ideas were evaluated not only by experts but also by a public participation innovation group from various sectors, assessing ▲relevance to the theme ▲originality ▲completeness ▲specificity ▲applicability (feasibility) to select the winners. A total of 10 entries, including the grand prize, were awarded prize money and certificates in the name of the institution.
The grand prize of this contest was awarded to the "Creator Advertising Manager." Based on data analysis, marketing planning, and storytelling skills, this idea supports individual creators in enhancing their promotional power and credibility to achieve stable income, and introduces various job creation channels in the future, earning high scores in terms of specificity and applicability.
The two excellence awards went to "Silver Reboot," which supports middle-aged and elderly people with work experience to directly operate care farms in rural areas, and "Appropriate Technology Living Lab Expert," which acts as a mediator to solve various problems faced by local communities through public-private-citizen cooperation.
The five encouragement awards were given to "F-V Marketer," which introduces virtual reality (VR) to fashion online markets to enhance customer satisfaction; "YouTuber Reputation Management Specialist," who manages the image and content reputation of individual creators; "Content Data Coordinator," who analyzes and provides various internet content data for individuals and companies; "Mixed Reality Technology Evangelist," who consults on the use of mixed reality technology; and "Agricultural Products Online Sales Operator," which promotes regional economic revitalization through coexistence of online and offline agricultural product sales.
Two ideas, "JobEdu Link Planner" and "Amphibian and Reptile Manufacturer," were selected for the Innovation Idea Award.

Na Young-don, Director of the Employment Information Service, stated, "We will continue to actively collect opinions from the field and contribute to providing detailed information on occupations that the public can feel and empathize with."
